Description

The course will introduce a number of concepts and techniques in current quantum physics experiments: entanglement, teleportation, Wigner function, non-gaussian quantum states, decoherence, squeezing... These topics will be illustrated with very different experimental platforms: single-photon sources, microwave resonators, high-finesse optical cavities, nonlinear crystals, trapped atoms or ions, gravitational-wave interferometers...
