InteracTeam

- research group based at the University of New South Wales, Sydney (UNSW). We are part of the newly created EMBL node in Australia, Single Molecule Science Group (SMS).

Our group uses single-molecule biophysical techniques to investigate the role of Protein-Protein Interactions (PPI’s) in different biological systems:
- neurodegenerative disease and effect of chaperones
- Protein fibrillation as an extreme amplification of signal in innate immunity
- Networks of interactions of transcription factors and their druggability in cancer
- Type III secretion system and hijacking of pathways during bacterial infection
