Compulsory course
The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to condensed matter physics from the point of view of electronic properties and structure of crystalline matter. It will describe both equilibrium and out-of-equilibrium properties of solids. The lectures will be supplemented by examples from recent research to emphasize the development of this field, especially in the field of nanoscience.
